Classes are held in the Parish Hall and the old Church Building. Classes for school-age groups typically run a course
similar to the school year, beginning in August or September, and ending in
May. Our classes are led by a very special group of volunteers who, through
their warmth and openness, strive to convey to every class member: "Who you
are, just as you are, is a precious gift to me, to our class, and to God's
Church."

| Living the Good News, a lectionary-based curriculum, is used in each of our classes. Every Sunday, at every age level, a common focus is drawn from the lectionary readings for that day. All age levels explore a common Bible reading, which is also one of the scriptures used in the Sunday liturgy. Through experiential learning, that is "learning-by-doing," we repeatedly discover how the Church's stories are woven together with the stories of our lives. Week by week, we participate in the rhythms that guide the Church year through its seasons. The growing child, the questioning adolescent, and the maturing adult each continues his or her journey of discovery as we listen to hear, together, the voice of God. Together, we discover the Story of God's love for God's people. Together we allow that Story to shape our faith and our lives. |
